I spent 25 years helping people launch better schools and learning tools at places like KIPP, New York City Charter Center, and 4.0. 18 years ago, I started goofing around with electric motorcycles; somehow, a few of them made it on TV and into books on the future of transportation.
EV-modding led to my first angel investment in B2U, operator of the largest 2nd-life EV battery power plant in the US. Since then, I’ve steered our small family office investing towards energy storage and other electrification opportunities. An educator first, I remain obsessed with the human behavior side of the energy transition.
